Dementia and Ageing Research Team (DART)

The Dementia and Ageing Research Team (DART)'s primary research interest is in the everyday experience of people living with dementia and their care partners and finding ways to engage those perspectives in transforming, shaping and leading our work.

We aim to:

  • promote an understanding of dementia through social research methods;
  • engage people living with dementia and their carers in setting our research and evaluation practice;
  • be part of a wider network of psychosocial research centres in dementia centres;
  • connect and translate our work into a variety of knowledge exchange platforms.
