The Dementia and Ageing Research Team are working alongside Manchester Camerata on a number of projects. For example, Dr Helen Pusey helped in the development of ‘Portraits of a Place’, a creative arts partnership between The Dementia and Ageing Research Team, Manchester Camerata and the NHS young onset dementia service in Manchester.

Professor John Keady is also the main supervisor of an ESRC CASE PhD studentship [commenced September 2015: PhD student Robyn Dowlen] with Manchester Camerata and Lancaster University looking at ‘in-the-moment’ experiences and evaluation of people with advanced dementia’s contribution to live music-making.
