A family centred study of young-onset dementia in Greater Manchester
Abstract
The aim of this research is to gain in-depth understanding of the family experience of young onset dementia. This is a longitudinal, qualitative study following families where one member has been diagnosed with young-onset dementia (<65 years). A greater understanding of the experience and needs of these families is required to inform service development for this under-researched population.
