Wounds research theme: understanding the impact of complex wounds

We have conducted a range of work with people affected by wounds – including those with wounds and their carers.

Qualitative work has explored the impact of complex wounds on people's lives, highlighting the severe impact they have upon patients' quality of life.

We have also conducted a James Lind Pressure Ulcer Partnership project, working with a range of partners to produce a list of research priorities in the area.
